If you have been to see an osteopath you will know how things work, if you have never been to see one then perhaps you would like to know what happens on your first visit.
I will take a case history covering your current problem, any previous problems and a brief general review of your medical history, this is to check if there is anything which I need to know before we proceed with treatment.
It is then normal practise for patients to remove their clothes down to sensible underwear or beach type wear if you would be more comfortable in that, I know when I trained most of us preferred to be treated wearing shorts. However if you are bothered by undressing, treatment can continue with you fully clothed. Please make it clear to me if you do not want to undress.
Once undressed I will access what is wrong and then continue with treatment.
